Peter Grant has brought back a second ex-Canary to Carrow Road, following the capture of Jamie Cureton with Darel Russell.

Russell rejoins from Stoke City after leaving Norwich back in 2003. He made over 150 appearances for the Britannia Stadium club. His final appearance for the Potters was against Real Madrid at the weekend.

The midfielder can expect to line-up alongside former teammates Adam Drury and Jason Shackell, survivors from his first spell, and will be under the instruction of another former teammate, Peter Grant.

Russell, 26, has signed a three-year deal and the transfer fee is undisclosed.
