Sharp set for Blades return

Scunthorpe striker Billy Sharp is reportedly very close to signing for Sheffield United.

The BBC website reports that Blades Chairman Terry Robinson told local radio that a swap deal is likely and that the deal is being finalised.

Sharp left Bramall Lane in 2005 and became a prolific marksman at Glanford Park. He has been linked with Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Norwich, who spoke to the striker last week about a £2million plus move.
