Sibierski in loan move

Norwich boss Glenn Roeder's summer-long search for a striker to replace Dion Dublin at Carrow Road has been temporarily ended by the procurement of French hitman Antoine Sibierski on loan.

Sibierski, 34, moves on a deal until January 18th. The Canaries had been expected to sign Bolton's Heidar Helguson, but that deal has failed to materialise. Now Sibierski, who played under Roeder at Newcastle following his move from Manchester City, will fill the target man gap that has plagued winless Norwich so far this season.
