Norwich City manager Paul Lambert is pleased with the winning spirit shown by his side over the last 14 months.And Lambert believes that Sunday's 4-1 derby victory over rivals Ipswich Town highlights why his players have made a solid start to the Championship season.
"Sometimes when you're up against it and you don't have the resources to compete with the bigger teams, you've got to find another ally," he said.
"And what we've got is a great spirit," Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"You can't thank the lads enough and that includes the lads that have left the club," added Lambert, who became Norwich manager in August 2009 before leading them to the League One title. "The team and the spirit we've got has been excellent."
Perhaps it would be best to extend Lansbury's loan until the end of the season, with a recall clause if Arsenal get bogged down with injuries

The East Anglian derby saw Arsenal's Henri Lansbury make his City debut after agreeing a loan switch to Carrow Road last week.
The 20-year-old looked composed in the Norwich midfield and set up hat-trick hero Grant Holt for his second of his three goals with a precise through ball.
"He's going to be a really top, top player that kid," said Lambert.
"I thought his pass was Lionel Messi-like, the way he threaded it through.
"The first 10, 15 minutes maybe he's a little bit nervy but once he settled into the game I thought he was brilliant."
Norwich's first win in six games moves them up to fifth in the Championship table, with a trip to Derby County now awaiting this Saturday.
