Coventry's Michael Mifsud could ease the potential loss of Leroy Lita, according to reports.
Glenn Roeder could be set to renew his interest in Coventry forward Michael Mifsud should his bid for Leroy Lita fail.Maltese International Mifsud saw a £1.5million summer move to Bristol City collapse and could now be available for a cut-price £750,000.
Norwich are believed to be prioritising making Reading striker Lita, who has hit four goals in his last two games, a more long-term fixture at Carrow Road. His current loan deal ends this month and a permanent transfer is likely to cost in excess of £2million and be complicated by interest from the Premier League, with West Bromwich Albion in particular said to be considering a bid.
Mifsud is currently in the Coventry side despite having a porr relationship with Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman. At one stage last season, 'the flea' was valued at around £5million to ward off the vultures.
