Svensson lasted just nine minutes of the game at Stamford Bridge and manager Nigel Worthington admitted that he is likely to be without the targetman for a number of weeks.

"He's hurt his medial ligaments," Worthington told the club's official website.

"He's going to be out for a few weeks.

"So if anyone wants to come and play centre forward, they can come and have a trial," he jokingly added.
