Tangerines could come cheap

Clauses inserted into the contracts of Blackpool pair Wes Hoolahan and Kaspars Gorkss could be to the benefit of Carrow Road boss Glenn Roeder as he mulls over a double swoop.

The Eastern Daily Press reports that Gorkss, linked in the local press in the seaside town with a switch to one of a number of clubs, has a release clause similar to clubmate Hoolahan.

Roeder has made no secret of his admiration for Hoolahan and is in the market for a winger following the loss of Darren Huckerby. Like Gorkss, the diminutive former Shelbourne and Livingston man would be a snip at a quarter of a million and would allow the Canaries to invest more heavily in crucial areas such as the vacant centre forward spot alongside Jamie Cureton.
