Targets on the move?

This morning's newspapers make encouraging reading for Glenn Roeder in his chase to secure quality new recruits.

The Daily Star believes Robert Earnshaw, prolific during his time at Carrow Road, could be allowed to move for considerably less than the £3.5million Derby paid Norwich for his services. The Canaries, as well as his first club Cardiff, have been linked.

Similarly Shola Ameobi, a former charge of Roeder's at Newcastle, is said to be surplus to requirements at St James' Park. Ipswich and Norwich are on the prowl for the England under-21 international.
