The Oppositions View

How do you feel your season has gone so far?

Earnies Trimm Trabs: Started well, but seems to have tailed off recently, however as it's our first season back in Div. 1 think we've made a good account of ourselves.

Csider: patchy, started and had the blues since before Xmas. Some key injuries have not helped but largely naive defending has cost us.

A Bluebird In Bristol: Its started really well and we witnessed some of the best attacking football seen here in years. Then we went through a sticky patch and have never really recovered any consistency. I'm happy enough with our first season back in Div 1.

Nigel Blues: Considering it is our first season here in 20 years, better than expected. We started the season on fire but have been disappointing for the past 3 months ... starting when we got hammered at Norwich.

What are your chances against the Canaries?

Earnies Trimm Trabs: If we manage to contain Huckerby and Kavanagh plays we should be in with a shout

Csider: Would take a draw now based on our last performance, but if the players do give it all then we could sneak it.

A Bluebird In Bristol: I always feel we have a chance......against anybody. But then again, this is Cardiff!!!

Nigel Blues: Home fan has been particularly poor in recent times culminating the worst home performance all season 11 days ago. We lost 1-0 at Home to Coventry, all the more galling when they had a man sent off after 25 seconds!

Who do you consider to be Norwich’s danger men?

Nigel Blues: Huckerby obviously - I hope he has one of those games where he plays and runs about like a headless chicken. Also Iwan Roberts if he plays (as we're vulnerable in the air at the back plus he's Welsh and will want to do well at a club he was keen to kin not so long ago).

Csider: most of your team, especially Roberts.

A Bluebird In Bristol: Huckerby & Mulryne

Who should Norwich watch out for?

Earnies Trimm Trabs: Bartley the Bluebird, if you see him give us a shout.

Csider: John Robinson (if he plays) and Earnshaw

A Bluebird In Bristol: Earnie is the obvious dangerman, but his form is por at the moment. If fully fit, John Robinson should cause you problems.

Nigel Blues: Paul Parry - a flyer on the left and whoever our front pairing are. We're 3rd leading scorers after all. John Robinson's good entertainment too.

Do you think Norwich will win promotion?

Nigel Blues: They'll have only themselves to blame if not.

A Bluebird In Bristol: I always expected you to slip a few places, but you are still there and looking strong.

Csider: Yes, hope so. I've always liked the football you've played and you've always hada few welshmen in your side - particularly liked the team with Bowen, Goss etc

What are your hopes for the rest of the season?

Earnies Trimm Trabs: Consolidate and avoid getting drawn into relegation dog fight

Csider: Get into the top 10 and win 4 of last home games.

A Bluebird In Bristol: That James Collins is given a chance to shine.

Nigel Blues: A top 10 finish would be great but realistically, I think we'll stay about where we are. Would just like to see us finish with some good, encouraging football and something to build on for next term.

Match Prediction?

Earnies Trimm Trabs: 2-1 City (Cardiff that is)

Csider: 2 – 2

A Bluebird In Bristol: In all honesty, 1-2

Nigel Blues: 1-1

On the ball.......
