Three-way tussle for centre back

Wigan Athletic defender Fitz Hall looks likely to drop down to the Championship in January, with three clubs eager to sign the former Crystal Palace man.

Queens Park Rangers are said to be preparing a bid in excess of £1million, while Norwich continue to be linked with a bid. A less likely destination for the defender would be Coventry, who are set to enter administration and would have a transfer embargo imposed. Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie, who managed Hall at Oldham and Palace, is nonetheless keen to try and bring in his old charge.
