Returning trialist Paul McVeigh did himself another favour in his quest to earn a new contract by firing a second half winner against Raith Rovers.

McVeigh, a second half substitute, took just four minutes to score from Matty Pattison's left wing cross after replacing Jon Otsemobor.

Fellow trialists Goran Maric, Michael Bridges and Chris Craig all made appearances up front. Michael Nelson captained the side, while David Stephens got a first team 90 minutes under his belt alongside him.
