The East Anglian derby has seen drama days before a ball is kicked with the news that Tractor Boys managers Jim Magilton and his Chairman David Sheepshanks were involved in a car crash last night.

The pair were travelling along the A12 with club advisor Charlie Woods and player liaison Wolfe Powell when the crash occured. They were treated for minor injuries before being released from Broomfield Hosptial in Chelmsford.

Neither Magilton nor Sheepshanks appeared at this morning's Portman Road press conference ahead of the match, which is likely to see Darren Huckerby's 200th appearance for Norwich, could see Jamie Cureton score his 200th career goal and could end Ipswich's play-off hopes.
