Tractor Boys off to losing start

Roy Keane's first summer friendly in charge of Ipswich saw a strong Tractor Boys side go down 2-1 at Finn Harps.

Having splashed considerable sums on Damien Delaney from QPR and Manchester United's Lee Martin, with more to come, much is expected of Keane, who achieved promotion with Sunderland at a cost of around £30million.

Marcus Evans will have to go another £27million or so so far. Delaney made his debut in the defeat, with Town's goal coming from the penalty spot. Martin, who it turns out is not the same one who won the FA Cup for the Red Devils back in 1990 (Keane has to draw the line at Man Utd veterans somewhere), did not feature.
