Former Leeds, Sunderland and Hull City striker Michael Bridges has joined Norwich's tour of Scotland as a trialist following his release by the Tigers.

Bridges, a former England under-21 international who once cost Leeds £5million, has become a loan nomad in the last few years since his move from Carlisle to the KC Stadium. He is now 30 and has the chance to prove he can still do a job at League One level.

He is joined on Bryan Gunn's busy tour by former Rangers youngster Chris Craig, a skillful but diminutive striker aged 20.

The pair, along with former Barcelona B player Goran Maric, and the five other trialists involved in City's two matches over the weekend, will have time to impress Gunn and co during the intensive training at Norwich's base in St Andrew's.
