Promising Manchester United striker Febien Brandy has revealed he chose Swansea over Norwich when offered a loan move earlier this season.

Brandy, 19, scored three times in 21 appearances for the League One Champions. He had the opportunity to choose between the Canaries, an unnamed Dutch club and the Swans, who were recommended by Red Devils boss and newly-crowned manager of the year Sir Alex Ferguson.

Brandy is out of contract this summer but is likely to sign a new deal to stay at Old Trafford and compete to get into the first team squad.
