WHo next for Norwich?

Aidy Boothroyd - He was a coach at Norwich, took Watford from the brink of relegation to promotion in one fell swoop, then struggled within the dramatically altered circumstances at Vicarage Road. My personal choice.

Paul Jewell - Had possibly the worst ever spell of anyone anywhere at Derby, completely undermining the work he had done at Bradford and Wigan. I wouldn't touch him with yours, but he did do badly at Sheffield Wednesday in between his good spells, so cyclically should be good at his next club. If anyone will give him a job.

Alan Curbishley - West Ham actually had their best ever start to a Premier League season this term, and he only quit because of the parlous financial state undermining his efforts at building a team. I wouldn't be heartbroken if he got the job, but we could kiss goodbye to the second half of most seasons once we'd got to 50 points.

Alan Pardew - A few years ago I'd have taken him, but not after what happened at Charlton. He seems like a good guy, but lost the players at West Ham partly through ego, if reports are to be believed. Did a cracking job at Reading given time though.

Paul Ince - for the love of God no.

Iain Dowie - Similar to Pardew in that he started really well, and he probably shouldn't have been sacked by Charlton when he was. Singularly failed to impress anywhere since, though, and seems happy with his TV jobs.

Lawrie Sanchez - To complete an extended job swap with Nigel Worthington. I don't think he's got the pedigree really, and Roy Hodgson has shown what can be done with Fulham.

Dion Dublin and Darren Huckerby - Doubtless what some fans will be calling for, particularly with Huckerby hanging around the club on his holidays like the sacked David Brent in The Office Christmas specials. We need someone with experience though, as much as I'd love to see Dublin back at the club and Huckerby firing on all cylinders on the pitch.

Malky Mackay - I love the guy, but this would be from the Peter Grant school of leftfield appointments. Not beyond the Board then...

I'll be posting a poll later...
