Winger deal done - report

Blackpool fan site Tangerine Planet believes that Seasiders winger Wes Hoolahan will sign for Norwich in a £250,000 deal.

The newly-capped Republic of Ireland international has been tracked by a number of Championship clubs after an impressive first season in the division. His knock-down fee is a result of a release clause.

Blackpool boss Simon Grayson, himself linked with the managerial vacancy at former club Leicester City, is believed to have become less reluctant to lose the player because of unspecified off the field problems. Nonetheless Canaries boss Glenn Roeder will, if the rumours are true, be delighted to secure the first of many expected signings to bolster his depleted squad.
