Winger set for medical next week

Preston winger Simon Whaley will undergo his Norwich City medical on Monday with a view to completing a move to Norfolk.

Whaley, 24, has been given time to mull over the move and now looks certain, barring any hitches, to become Bryan Gunn's fifth permanent signing of the summer, following Matthew Gill, Owain Tudur Jones, Michael Nelson and Michael Theoklitos.
