The race to become the new manager of Norwich looks set to stretch worldwide as Avispa Fukuoka manager Pierre Littbarski has entered the frame according to this morning's Sun newspaper.

Littbarksi, 47, was part of Franz Beckenbauer's 1990 World Cup winning West Germany side, and has managed MSV Duisberg in his homeland as well as winning the inaugural Australian A-League with Sydney FC.

Littbarski is currently managing in Japan in his third spell, having previously been in charge of Yokohama twice. He has a long-standing partnership with former Canaries midfielder Ian Crook, who is among the favourites to take up the position vacated by Peter Grant last week.
