Goals either side of the break from striker David Nielsen and a third from Darren Kenton ensured three more points for promotion-chasing City.

"Things are going very well for us at the moment and that's down to everyone at this football club.

"The team spirit is excellent and the hard work that's being put in is there for all to see. But there's an awful long way to go yet.

"I thought we were a little bit slow to get started but once we had picked the pace up I thought we passed it around well and fully deserved the three points.

"When they got it back to 1-1, it was a little test for us but I thought we came through it with flying colours.

"David did well for his two goals, but I thought all the lads did an excellent job and now it's just a case of taking it on from here.'
