Worthington Praises Supporters

A massive crowd of 7,500 made the trip to Selhurst Park cheering on the Canaries until the end in an attempt to lift the players to get a deserved equaliser.

Norwich boos Nigel Worthington was very thankful for the support he and his players received throughout the game.

"I thought our supporters were different class," said Worthington.

"Even though the result has gone against us, they were absolutely tremendous and I have to stress that their support is very, very much appreciated."

Despite Norwich's two defeats in three games, Worthington insists his side are still confident in their ability will continue to push for promotion.

"We are still in the driving seat and we just have to keep driving forward and pick up as many points as we can, simple as that. Forget about what other people do.

"We're still top of the league. OK, it's a blow that we lost, but we will bounce back as we have always done."
