And, the City boss was quick to shrug-off suggestions that the Canaries are struggling to pick up points away from Carrow Road.

"Robert Green has only made two or three saves and that's what he's there for. After that we have worked hard, passed the ball and played very well. I thought it was a good game, a very open game with two teams trying to play the right way and a good advert for First Division football.

"I was delighted with the performance of my boys. The possession we had was excellent and at times I thought the way we passed the ball was very, very good.

"Maybe the quality around the final third could have been a little bit better but we had our chances. We had one cleared off the line and another couple of half chances near the end.

"I've got no complaints. If we keep doing that and stay honest then we will pick up points away from home.

"Don't build up something that's not there. As long as the players keep performing it's not a problem.I've seen us play worse and get three points – that's the crazy game of football.

"Let's keep it in perspective. Now we've just got to get back into work on Monday and get focused on the game for next Saturday."
