Worthy speaks out on transfer targets

Izale McLeod, Greg Halford and Antoine Sibierski were the diverse names discussed by Norwich boss Nigel Worthington when asked about his transfer targets.

McLeod, of the MK Dons, has been linked with a number of clubs in the past 18 months, and fits the bill of the burly foil for Robert Earnshaw.

Unfortunately, despite Martin Allen having transfer listed the player on his arrival in the summer, the asking price has put off Worthington.

"He's a player we have enquired about but is too much money as far as I'm concerned," said the Canaries boss.

There was no news on Colchester starlet Halford, who has requested a move after their pointless start the season, while Sibierski, of Manchester City, would be unlikely to fit the club's wage structure, said Worthington.
