Deano, Deano, Deano!

So the big man has done it again. Four goals in three games have helped give City a chance at achieving the impossible and staying in the Premiership. But can Ashton really perform miracles?

Well he certainly is an idol. To have over 20 000 people chanting your name sort of proves that point. So far so good then.

I wouldn’t know myself (to use an Al Murray phrase, “I’ve never thought about it!”), but I have heard girls saying our Deano looks divine. Still seems godlike…

He still has time, and is well on course to becoming a saviour for the football club. If his goals do prove enough to keep us afloat then he certainly will be our knight in shining armour.

If all that proves that Dean is a God, then there is one thing that proves he is not.

No it’s not the bible, though I suppose that offers conclusive proof that there is only one almighty, but it is not the speaking of the prophets that disprove my idea. No. Instead it’s the words of Mr. N Worthington: “He is not the Messiah”

I still think he’s pretty special though.
